Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 720

Rain wasn't in the forecast, but it sure was windy during our annual Raingutter Regatta.  Pack 720's Scouts built and decorated small wooden boats then raced them all on lung power.  Everyone had a great time and it was a fitting way to kick the Scouting year into high gear.  Our next event is the fall campout on Sept. 18th.  See you there!

 

Uniform Exchange

Hats, neckerchiefs, slides, etc. - we'll take them off your hands and store them in a Pack exchange box that will be brought to every Pack meeting.  Son lost his slide - check out the box.  Son's now a Webelo and his Tiger, Wolf and Bear hats are taking up space - put them in the box.  Bring your items to the next Pack Meeting.

WHO LET THE DOGS OUT!

The Richmond Police K-9 unit paid a visit at our May Pack meeting.  The officers assisted in the awarding of rank badges and offered an exciting demonstration of their dogs training and skill.  Both officers used their arm pads and showed what it is like to be the "bad guy" on the wrong side of a trained K-9 dog.  Scouts and parents were amazed at the control both dogs showed during the demonstration.  Needless to say, the Scouts had plenty of questions.  This was our last Pack meeting of the school year.  Next stop Cross Over!

We're located in the Far West End, and meet at Twin Hickory Elementary and Mount Vernon Baptist Church. Any boy in 1st through 5th grade is welcome to Join Us, regardless of school or religious preference.
